Many of the most beautiful routes even start right outside our doorstep.
While hiking in Maishofen and Saalbach-Hinterglemm, you will experience nature in all its diversity.
Especially for families, the Käfertal Nature Adventure Trail is a highlight.
Along the 4 km route, you will find adventure stations, water playgrounds,
climbing rocks and a marmot playground.
The not very steep trail starts at the Tauernhaus Ferleiten and can even be easily managed with a stroller.
Those who want more can continue another 2 km to the Stiegeralm,
which, however, is not serviced.
For those interested in culture, the Anton Faistauer Hiking Trail offers the chance
to discover the history of the famous painter. Over approximately 8 km, you will learn more
about the life and work of the artist – perfectly combined with a delightful hike in Maishofen.
For experienced mountaineers, the 7 Summits in Saalbach present a real challenge:
7 peaks, about 24 kilometers, 1,413 meters of elevation gain and around 9 hours of hiking.
